The Canna Academy – Cannabis Education Certification and Industry Training

In 2018, 65,000 jobs were added to the cannabis industry. In fact, the cannabis industry has grown 700% this year alone. According to the consumer research group BDS analytics, the US is expected to remain by far the largest global market, reaching $66.3 billion by 2025. Whether you are looking to become a Cannabis Coach, Budtender, or fill one of the hundreds of other positions available in the cannabis industry, a skilled and educated workforce will be needed. Will you be ready?

The Canna Academy is Palm Beach County’s 1st in-person cannabis education institution. It was established to provide high-quality, accessible and affordable cannabis education and industry training in South Florida. Our mission is to help create an educated workforce throughout the cannabis industry to better serve cannabis patients and their families.

The Canna Academy is for anyone looking for an education course to help launch a career in the cannabis industry. Our academy is also for those who may already be in the industry but looking to enhance their resume by augmenting their existing knowledge of cannabis therapeutics. The Canna Academy is even for the novice who may want to increase their personal knowledge to support friends and family members with their cannabis medicine.

The Canna Academy curriculum is designed using an evidence-based approach. We incorporate the latest available research into our content.  Classes are in-person, engaging, hands-on, and easy to understand. 

Curriculum includes: 

• Introduction to Cannabis Terminology, History, Growing, and Extraction
• Cannabinoids, Terpenes, and Flavonoids
• The Endocannabinoid System
• CBD and Hemp 101
• Medical Marijuana 101
• Cultivating a Constructive Dialogue with Patients and Clients
• Exam (passing score on 80% required to receive a certificate of completion)

Veterans, College Students, Cannabis Industry Professionals, Florida Medical Marijuana Card Holders and Seniors (65+) receive a 10% discount.*
