Cannabis Smell and the Fourth Amendment

With cannabis laws, hemp laws, and technology constantly in flux, it’s tough for lawmakers, law enforcers, and the general public to know what’s “allowed” and what isn’t.

This is a back-to-back event with the Cannabis Investment Club in Boca Raton.

We’ll kick off with a discussion of publicly traded cannabis and cannabis ancillary businesses then dive into a discussion of “Sniff n Search” and your 4th amendment rights with Joshua Navarro, Esq., Trial Specialist and Cannabis Consultant.

This event covers topics relevant to the 4th Amendment with a particular focus on “Sniff ‘n’ Search”, or the practice of using “marijuana smell” as probable cause for searching a home or vehicle.

Other topics such as the use of stingrays and similar technologies may be discussed.
